Redesigning the caGIFTed logo involved balancing its core values of sustainability, creativity, and uniqueness while modernizing the design. The challenges included maintaining the spirit of sustainability, balancing originality with simplicity, conveying sustainability without generic “green” imagery, and reflecting the brand’s one-of-a-kind nature. Additionally, the logo needed to connect with an audience that values thoughtful, eco-friendly gifting, ensuring it remained stylish, personal, and versatile across various platforms. Ultimately, the goal was to refresh the logo without losing the essence of caGIFTed’s identity.

Instead of relying on clichéd eco-symbols, MarkApex incorporated recycling blue and pink—colors that not only reinforce sustainability but also evoke inclusivity by referencing the transgender flag. This color palette subtly aligned with caGIFTed’s eco-friendly message while embracing diversity and inclusivity in its design.
